What is an Eagle Court of Honor?
For new scouts or members of Troop 88, I would tell you to attend an Eagle Court of
Honor. There is no better way to see what it takes to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
When a scout earns the rank of Eagle Scout, Troop 88 will provide the medal & pin set and a custom made Eagle Scout scarf. The scout’s family generally determines what, where, and when.

Many Eagle Courts take place in the Student Center at PEPC. The date is generally
coordinated with troop liaison to the church. It is a great honor to attend an Eagle Court of Honor, but even a greater honor to speak at the event. There are several excellent
presentations including 100 Scouts, Obligation of an Eagle Scout, the Eagle Scout
Promise, and the Brotherhood of Eagles. A lot of times, a slide-show displays the
picture history of the steps to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. The ceremony is often
the end to the beginning.
