The Boy Scouts of America recommends that all youth and adult members have annual medical evaluations by a certified and licensed health-care provider. In an effort to provide better care to those who may become ill or injured and to provide youth members and adult leaders a better understanding of their own physical capabilities, the Boy Scouts of America has established minimum standards for providing medical information prior to participating in various activities. Those standards are offered below in one three-part medical form.
Note that unit leaders must always protect the privacy of unit participants by protecting their medical information.

Wilderness First Aid & CPR Clas

Hi Troop, Mrs. Hawkins passed this along, for anyone wanting some  advanced first aid training.

On Sept 19th & 20th, the Aurora Medical Team is offering a 16 hour Wilderness First Aid & CPR class in Parker from 9am until 5pm at the  building formerly known as the Parker Fire District Headquarters on  10235 Parkglenn Way. Eagle Applications

Effective August 1, 2009, the national office will no longer accept Eagle applications prior
to the 2009 printing. The Council website has been updated to reflect this change.

Parker Town Council Flag Ceremonies

Troop 88 will be opening the Parker Town Council with the Flag Ceremony on September 14. We will need 8-10 boys in uniform Monday evening for Flags. (Time to be determined shortly).

If you are working on your Citizenship in the Community – this makes an excellent night to go, as it is a required item in the Merit Badge. (3/a Attend a city or town council or school board meeting, or a municipal; county, or state court session.)
