Scouts will need to bring sunscreen, a hat, a shovel, a wheelbarrow, sunglasses, summer clothing, enough water to sustain hydration for at least five hours, and some work gloves. I will supply lunch, and extra water if needed. I need some of these materials for my project: Galvanized steel edging, Edging pins, shovels, rakes, sledge hammers, and last, some pick axes.

» Troop 88 Communication
Communication is critical to the success of the troop. Some people simply delete emails once a month while others rely on daily communications. The troop cares about your needs.

If you prefer to reduce emails and/or only want the newsletter, please respond to change your subscription. If you are fine with the current emails, there is nothing for you to do.

Troop Email Policy
At this time, the troop uses troop88.org@comcast.net to send emails to a distribution list. Your privacy is always a concern. Information is generally coordinated by a single person to reduce SPAM. The current contact is Jason Rice. If you have information that you would like to share with the troop, please email jason.m.rice@comcast.net or troop88.org@comcast.net.

Given date/time sensitivity of the information, a decision will be made to place the information in the next Troop Newsletter or send out an email to the troop.

If you are planning an activity, please coordinate the event with Mr. Johnston. The troop needs your volunteer commitment for planned activities. Email: bradjoanne@msn.com or 720 851-1985. Online Calendar: http://troop88.org/secure/calendar07.htm

Please understand that the troop has grown, and we are working together to provide good communication for everyone.

» Wear your uniforms!
The leaders of Troop 88 remind scouts to wear their uniforms at all meetings and especially Court of Honor events. If circumstances conspire to make this difficult or impossible, please come, although please don't make a habit of not wearing your uniform. Wear your uniform proudly!
